As the Faculty Fellow with In Every Generation, I teach and conduct research in the School of Theology and Christian Ministry at Belmont University. Through IEG, I have the opportunity to read, write, teach, and create around a central question: how might music—and the arts more broadly, cultivate and nurture the healthy intergenerational relationships the Church so desperately needs? I’m thoroughly millennial (born in 1986), so the AOL dial-up tone is permanently seared into my memory. That generational placement gives me the unique privilege of connecting with both older and younger saints through IEG!
