I was born in Arkansas, raised in Texas, and now live in Tennessee with my wife Becca and our son Asher. I’m a full-time singer-songwriter and have been recording and releasing music for over 20 years. One of the things I’ve loved most about this project is its intergenerational aspect. I’ve never had the opportunity to work with so many people from such diverse backgrounds on a single album. Throughout the writing and recording process, I learned so much from folks both younger and older than me. It was refreshing to break out of my usual bubble and gain new perspectives. Even though my allergies and the Tennessee pollen are constantly trying to kill me, my favorite hobby is mountain biking.
