Hi, I’m Kelsey McGinnis, a writer and musicologist based in Iowa. I’ve been singing and playing in church since middle school, and these days, most of my music-making energy goes into singing and dancing with my three kids.

One of my current interests, both personally and professionally is multigenerational worship and the inclusion of children in the full life of the church. I was honored to be invited to participate in In Every Generation, and I loved spending time with a gifted and generous group of collaborators who are also exploring what it means to imagine a model for corporate worship that truly welcomes people of all ages.
